Upon further review of the legislation, the departments see value in incorporating additional hemp and marijuana industry stakeholder perspectives on the Task Force in order to broaden the range of expertise available to address the complicated issues surrounding intoxicating hemp products.
To that end, both CDA and CDPHE are reappointing their agency appointments to the Task Force and in their place making the following appointments:
- Jared Stanley of Charlotte’s Web, Inc.
- Michael Hennesy of Wana Brands, LLC.
The departments believe the unique perspectives of Mr. Stanley and Mr. Hennesy will add value to the final recommendations made to the General Assembly.
The departments are committed to maintaining staff presence during all Task Force meetings and will provide technical assistance if requested by the group.
